Pride month starts off strong with a powerhouse of local drag queens taking over boutique for a drag show

Cara Coronado, a Fresno drag queen and resident host at Splash Bar Fresno, hosted a drag show in the heart of Chinatown in Fresno. She performed an exhilarating number to a remix of Beyoncé songs.

Coronado, known for her humor and high energy, soon welcomed other seasoned queens to the stage: Babydoll, Sis Bougie, Camilla P Davis, Naudia Skye and Whorechata.

All queens showed individuality through their electrifying performances and actively engaged with the audience creating a fun and entertaining space.

On June 1, Kordova x Ms. Limón V hosted a fashion show and lent their space for a drag show to mark the start of Pride month.

Kordova Co. X Ms. Limón V presented “Alien Superstar,” a collection of garments utilizing reflective, glitter, sequined and metallic fabrics.

Models who walked the collection were decorated with alien-like sunglasses and glitter. The audience was audibly excited when models unexpectedly showered themselves with holographic confetti hidden beneath hats or in the palms of their hands.

Individuals will have another chance to see “Alien Superstar” again at 559 Night Market on June 30.
